Tayler Simpson

About Me

Tayler is a self-taught photographer and does not remember her life without having a camera in her hand.

Her passion for photography began when she received her first digital camera at the age of 6. She realized she could make a career out of it during her first year of high school when she bought her own DSLR.

From 2017-2020 she was her high school football team’s photographer and spent her Friday nights under the lights on the sidelines at every game, home or away.

In 2020, her senior year, she began taking lifestyle portraits for friends and family, which is where she found a love for candid and event photography.

After receiving her associate in liberal arts from Schoolcraft College in 2023, she transferred to Wayne State University to continue studying journalism.

Career goals:

To become a well-established photographer

Find my way back into the sports industry

Educational goals: Obtain a bachelor’s degree in Journalism
